Fern considers herself to be a simple southern girl. She likes bare feet, long walks, and fresh fruit, often all at the same time. Living breathing things like dogs and trees intrigue her to no end, and if she weren’t ripe with a baby boy, she’d probably be walking her dogs over to a good climbing tree right this very moment.
Fern prefers to leave history to the textbooks, and she revels in the wild mystery of now. There’s not one little thing she doesn’t believe in, and there’s not one big thing she believes to be absolutely true. She lives and loves for the experience, she loves to listen and laugh, and she’ll kindly encourage you to do the same.
Of all the things Fern loves to get herself into, big new adventures are at the top of the list. There isn’t much she won’t try, and she really enjoys to scare the heck out of herself by doing something she knows nothing about. She finds study to be infinitely boring, and she has a reckless and immeasurable trust in her ability to adapt. Learning to live with very little money and relatively few things seems intriguing, sexy, and totally do-able. She’s excited about bringing an abundant new life into the world to whom she can show the beautiful wide world, and from whom she hopes to re-learn how to find magic.
Her interests are many, her talents are modest, her heart is open. She loves to spend time with her self, her partner, her baby, dogs, friends, cats, trees, art, music, her yoga mat, and whatever new creature she’s managed to stumble upon today. Love of home is at the core of who she is, and she loves little more than creating an artfully lived life for herself and her family. She enjoys simply being, she knows little and loves much, and she takes her beginners mind with her wherever she might meander. She is enamored with the parallel journeys of being an herban cowgirl, an earth mama, and a sensually vibrant woman. She believes love to be the only true pursuit in a life lived abundantly, and will never stop reaching for more.
